I didn't get a cell phone until I was a Sophomore in high school. I now have a blackberry and truly believe that I cannot live without it. My little sister who is 9 has been asking my parents for a cell phone for a couple months now. It is crazy how quickly times change, and technology takes over.
In high school if you were caught with your cell phone during the school day there was a good chance you would be in a lot of trouble. The high school where my brother goes allows them to keep their cell phones in their pockets in case of an emergency. What happened during an emergency before the students were allowed to have their cell phones with them?
Would my parents be crazy to give my 9 year old sister a cell phone? Or would it seem normal to most people? At this point I don't know what I really think about the whole situation. I actually don't think I would find it that strange if my sister was walking around with a cell phone.

would it be easier...

Living with 4 girls can sometimes get very intense. No matter how good of friends you are going into the living situation there will always come a time when you are all sick of each other.
My one roommate however, is a psychology major and is in a class this semester which as been the reason for some very good conversations between the 5 of us. She has to write a journal entry everyday talking about the stereotypes of girls and boys. We are constantly talking about how boys are treated versus how girls are treated, in all sorts of situations.
These conversations sometimes make me wonder if it would be easier to live with all boys instead of the girls. Even though some of these girls are some of my best friends it is hard. Would there be less drama? Would I be less stressed out? I guess these are questions that will never be answered.
So this blog was really just a vent session, about how hard it is to sometimes live with a bunch of girls.

Complete Mind Blank...

I never thought I would have a blog, but have always been interested in those people who take the time everyday to let everyone know what they are thinking.
This week was definitely a hard one. And, I am getting sick and tired of the annoying H1N1 virus. My roommates and I have become complete germa-phobes, and have been cleaning with Lysol wipes constantly.
I really hope that this blog opens up new doors and ideas for me?
